SALT Cooling Center is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday on the top floor at First Baptist Church, 28 N. 10th St. Get to know our cooling center and our warming center, and how we're committed to serving people in need of getting a break from extreme weather conditions. Join us as we create a safe and fun weatherproof center experience together. We're glad you're here to be a part of our story, so grab a cup of coffee, or a bottle of water and relax with us for a while.

We are a dedicated team committed to providing people in need a safe, comfortable place out of the weather extremes. Our focus lies in providing reliable and innovative alternatives to weather extremes, driven by a deep respect for safety and a genuine desire to exceed expectations of people in need, so walk in and get a cup of coffee or a bottle of water while you relax with us. We have interesting conversations, play games, read, complete puzzles or simply rest.
